Why I'm riding:

Last February I participated in the 2018 Bikes Fight Poverty ride in support of 1MISSION. Admittedly last year I signed up for the event because it sounded like fun. I was much more concerned with the bike ride portion of the event than I was the real goal, however after the truly transformational ride last year I am fully focused on what matters most, raise funds to build safe homes for families in Mexico who desperately need them. 1MISSION has set up a structure that allows families in need to serve their community in order to EARN a house. After their house is built, the family continues to serve furthering sustainable development in their own community. A couple really exciting things are happening this year. The first being that Katelyn has decided to volunteer and join my mom and sister Lindsey in providing SAG support for the riders! Secondly, my cousin Steven has decided to become a part of the team and tag along for the journey! And third, I have stepped up my game and will be riding in Group 1 (20mph+)! With all that being said, I am asking you to help us change the world by donating to my 1MISSION Bikes Fight Poverty campaign. Every little bit can make a huge difference.
